If you're looking for a Bible for serious academic study, this is one I'd highly recommend. The New Oxford Annotated Bible is widely used in university-level biblical studies, with extensive scholarly notes on authorship, dating, historical context and the development of the biblical texts. Its approach is primarily historical-critical rather than devotional, making it an excellent resource for anyone wanting to study the Bible academically.
